Kuch Ban Kay Dikhao

The Kuch Ban Kay Dikhao program aims to inspire and guide students towards informed career decision-making by shifting focus from conventional career paths to individual strengths, interests, and potential. The key objectives of the program include providing accessible career guidance to students across diverse socio-economic backgrounds, promoting self-discovery, critical thinking, and purpose-driven career choices among Grade 10 and 12 students, engaging parents to support their children’s unique career paths while helping them understand the importance of allowing their children to pursue their passions, and involving teachers and local communities in discussions that emphasize the value of career planning from an early age.

The planned timeline of implementation for the program was from September 27, 2024 to January 7, 2025; however, the program was executed from September 27 to October 19, 2025. The program had to be paused due to an accident on October 14, 2024, which resulted in a shoulder fracture of Ahmer Khan.

Geographically, the program was designed to conduct 100 career-focused activities covering over 5,000 kilometers, starting from Khunjerab Pass at the Pakistan-China border and concluding at Taftan on the Pakistan-Iran border. More than 100 locations were planned under this initiative; however, prior to the accident, 16 different locations were successfully covered. These sessions were conducted in regions of Gilgit Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The target beneficiaries of the program included 1,651 students from schools, colleges, and universities, along with 74 teachers and educators. During the evaluation period, a total of 21 Kuch Ban Kay Dikhao workshops were conducted. Evidence of these activities is available at the following link: Kuch Ban Kay Dikhao!.

The program was offered completely free of cost to all participants. It operates on a fully subsidized model, ensuring equitable access to career guidance services. All sessions, workshops, and materials were provided 100% free of charge, and no registration or participation fee was collected from any participant.

The program was discontinued in 2025 due to a shoulder fracture of Ahmer Khan; however, it will resume in 2026, Insha’Allah
